Fresh SnowI don't think there's anything nature-wise, in the winter, that I love more than snow. Well, actually, I love to see snow falling. There is something so magical about falling snow. But since it snowed while I was asleep, this picture is of the next best thing :) I enjoy wintertime, and I can appreciate cold weather, but when it snows it makes it so much more fun. And snow is such a beautiful reminder of what Christ did for me: though my sins were as crimson, they are white as snow (Isaiah 1:18). I always think of that verse when I see snow. I love how God uses His creation to remind us of His promises.

Hmmm, I don't suppose you'd mind taking some of this Midwestern snow from us? :-D I think the best part of winter is coming into a warm house after being out in the cold-- everything just feels that much cozier!

Good grief! This posting every day is not happening for me!
I am not a fan of snow. If we have to have it, though, today was the kind I want... very little of it and gone by noon!
