Deals for the Week Cheat

Uhh, so just a couple minutes ago I realized that I had totally forgotten about posting the deals for this week. I really don't know if/when I'll get around to it this week.

In the meantime, check out Andrea's blog for her weekly deals post. Her Kroger deals usually vary from ours, but the really good deals are generally about the same. Just be sure to check your local salepaper to make sure.

I just glanced through Ukrops salepaper and see that they have Food Club shredded or bar cheese for $1.67. I'm glad I checked because I need to buy some cheese this week and Kroger cheese sale this week isn't that great.

I haven't even clipped this weeks coupons yet, I've barely looked through the salepapers! I hope to do it tonight, but we'll see.

Thankfully when Daniel got home from work last evening (which was later than usual - yay!!) he said that he'd only suggested that tonight might suit for the person to come look at our house, he hadn't confirmed it with her. We both decided that Thurs night will work out better. Shew! I did get alot done on the room yesterday but not as much as I wanted to. On top of it all, I got a sore throat yesterday afternoon and it got worse as the day went on. It was still sore this morning, but now it's only tender. Hopefully it was either a cold that I totally kicked in the butt, or allergies. I'm leaning towards a cold since any allergy problems I have don't tend to bother my throat so much. I'm gonna keep drinking lotsa water today, though!!

Deals for the Week of 3/8/09

Edited areas marked **.

I'm sorry this is a little later than usual! A good friend of ours passed away Saturday, and there was visitation/viewing Mon, Tue & Wed from 2-8. We really wanted to make it to one of them, and were hoping that Daniel would get off work in time one day to do that. And yesterday he did - just barely. It was a 4-hour round trip, so on the way (since it was still daylight) I clipped Sunday's coupon!! I'm sure that people passing us on I64 thought I was nuts. I had coupons spread all over the dash and was chopping away with my scissors :P

Kroger Deals for the Week

I am skipping posting the Kroger deals this week. I've been crazy busy, I've come down with a cold, I'm exhausted, and in all truth: I don't feel up to it.

You can go to www.kroger.com and look at their salepaper online.

Also feel free to go here for Andrea's Snack Summary, which is often very similar to our deals.

Welcome to my first Deals of the Week! My hope is to match up coupons with our local sales each week and pass along the best of the deals to you! Thanks for bearing with me as I've had to come back and do some editing already :) Big thanks to Andrea for sharing her Snack Summaries with me!

I clip most of the coupons from the Sunday inserts each week, but there may be some that I miss. And because I always cut them out, I can't pass along which Sunday's insert what coupons come from.

For more deals check out Andrea's Snack Summaries for Kroger, Target and Walmart. Usually her deals will be slightly different than what is in our local fliers, but I've found that the sales are very close to being the same, and most of the time the sale is going on in our store but just not advertised in the flier.
