An Award

I am always excited and happy to see new people following my blog. You guys make it worth it! I love blogging, but it's so much more fun to do when you know somebody's reading it :)

Carol just started following, and so sweetly gave me this award! I'm not sure what the name is for it, Carol's blog post title was "The Lovely Award", and so that's what I'll call it.

"These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers

aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in

self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons

of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated.

I did have to look up "aggrandizement". After reading it a few times I had a good idea of what it probably meant, and I was basically right. Here's the Merriam-Webster definition: To make great or greater. To make appear great or greater: praise highly. To enhance the power, wealth, position or reputation of.

And you know the best thing about this award? It doesn't have "rules" about passing it along, or who you should pass it on to. However, I am going to pass it along to a few of my wonderful bloggy friends.
