Monday evening at 8:07pm our third daughter, Charity Kathleen, was born. She weighed 9 lbs, 6.6 oz. and is 21" long.
It was an induced labor, but no drugs (I really did not want pitocin). It was fast, everything went very well, and much of it still seems very surreal to me. :-) I am very glad we had our friend and doula with us. I plan to write Charity's birth story soon. For now we are focused on our new life as a family of 5!!

You have your priorities right to be focusing on your own family. We're all sitting around with our ears perked up waiting to hear your birth story (like all the old mama cows crowding around the new baby calf!), but these precious days with a tiny baby are so full and you need to enjoy the best moments as they are happening. So happy for you and your whole family!
Congratulations again!!! I'm so thrilled for you, and I look forward to reading all about Charity's birth. But I'll be just as interested a week or month from now as I am today, so take your time. :) I hope you're getting some good rest these days. I wish I were closer so I could help you with something!!
Big congratulations, Miriam!! She is beautiful!

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you and your family!! The pictures of your big girls holding Charity are so sweet. These baby pictures are dangerous by the way.....they are giving me baby fever ;)
